For what they’re worth, they’re expensive. You’re paying for an E branded deck with a coating of black ink. You should wait until E ends up with overstock and decides to have a sale. Yep.

Ellusionist’s Black Tiger brand. The all white pip version is now…no longer for sale? Yea. They had a sale to get rid of them or something. I should know. I get their emails in my spam folder. Red pips however are still available. Don’t think they’ll disappear for quite some time.

Life/Finish: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○ ○ ○
For carrying the name of ‘tiger’, they’re not that strong. Still stronger than your average bicycle decks, but not by much. Does not compare at all to bees, or other casino stock. Finish. It says air-cushion. Its basically your average air-cushion. With a slathering of black ink.

Can you see the wear of white on the card edges? : /

Its ok. Nothing good. Nothing bad.

Oh no . Its another 808 rider back. E style. Give it a black border. Right. Way to start the madness of black and white. Wouldn’t black and white ink … be cheaper to produce…? Whatever. Looks,,,’bold’ in spreads. Not too flashy or catch in fans though. Face spreads have red pips to stand out. Otherwise its like it’s a color inversion cousin of the ghost. Sort of. That would actually in fact be the black ghost. Which I’m avoiding at the moment, until E releases another deck or something.

Invisible (Elastic) Threadwork : ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○

Grab a deck of tigers. Hit up all the edges with black sharpie. And you now have an ideal deck to use for thread works. Because. You know. Its black and all….,,,,,Of course, theres other decks but,,,they’re all E as well. Oh well . Pick and choose. Well, if I was doing thread work, I’d favor black bordered decks, if it weren’t for the point and shout of ‘trick’ deck! Or magnet! Or string! But .. But.. Its invisible thread.

Tiger : I have a heart and it isn't black.

-As always, I picked up a bunch of these for cheap. Most of them turned into gifts for friends and stuff. Last deck I have in reserve. With sharpied edges, since I was into threadwork then. Sort of. Pricy deck. At Disneyland they’re like 8$ a deck. Good if you want to show off something besides your skill with cards. Yea. Sure. My deck just sits in my case. Shrugs. I don’t have much in favor of black tigers. Don’t have much against them either. If bicycles were average in the card stock world. Then tigers would be average in the custom card stock world. Whatever that means. Theres no tigers on the deck anyways…you need the gaff deck for that. What. Yea…ok…yawn…another day,,,another bicycle deck.

Retails at 4.99$ a deck. Drops as low as low as 3.80something if you order at least a brick. Otherwise. You’re actually getting what you’re paying for, so its worth it.

Ellusionist better keep it in stock if they know what’s good for them. I’m just holding out until they decide to have ghosts on sale.

UV500AirFlowFinish. Uhm. Sure. Its just another name. but. Ellusionist seems to have done something right with this deck. That isn’t quite apparent in some of its other decks. Maybe it’s the very very lack of ink of the face as well as the back of the cards. Or the ’(insert approving adjective here)’ stock they used. Black, and traces of red. And shades of black. The deck itself holds nicely. Strong, but leaning slightly towards the thinner end of decks. Strong? But its also light…hm. Like a ghost? But ghosts are harmless. Btw the life of these decks is long. They fan after years. Even after they’re trashed left and right.

Oh no . Its another 808 rider back. Ellusionist style. Remove as much color as possible. So its like. A black/white rider back . With these faded grey lines on the outer edges. Personally, those aren’t too good for card work. But, that’s the only ding it gets I guess. Maybe we should ding ellusionist more for spawning the color scheme of T-11 decks. Perhaps. But we haven’t gotten there yet either.

Selling out to Ellusionist: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○ ○

Wouldn’t it be awesome if you had the $$$ to exclusively use only E decks. As well as all the gimmicked and gaff decks they have for each line. Each line? How about stick with one line. I’d go for ghost. Its clean. Er. Than all the others. Ah. I even got a gaff deck. But this was years ago. Is it true that beginners start at E? uhhh I started in books….

-Darn. I was trying to avoid corporate branded decks for as long as possible. But this was sitting next in line next to all those other bicycle 808s I have. Well, it was the last ghost deck I had lying around. I’ve already burned through a bunch of others over the … years… what…its really been years since I bought ghost decks…..?….or anything from E for that matter….back when their 12 deck bundle was 48$ ie cheaper than the 63 $ bundle they advertise today. scheming E when will you fix your corporate evil ways….ahem.
The ghost deck is simple enough for most ppl to like. Though beware of screams and yells of ’trick’ deck! And other things. Good for xcm and flourishes because they hold their own in use and weather and other things. … wow…this post hit page 2 in my word processor … uhh. If you buy decks from E, make sure its ghosts. I heard the other decks aren’t that great.
