Its Saturday, and I don’t have anything better to do. At night. Lets continue.
Name: Offason Anglo “Rug”
Date: 5.23.2009
Cost: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Buying direct from el-duco or Glyckaren(spelling off the top of my head) means 6$ a deck. That’s quite pricey already. Add 12$ shipping to any order from Sweden, and hopefully you’re buying more than one deck. I bought 17, and sold some back on ebay, so that saved me some. 6$ a deck?!?!? Is it worth it. Well. They’re cards…from Sweden. Different stock, different feel. Its…ok…not the best…, but for magics, I’ll probably pick up some more in the future.

You can order online and stuff. But sometimes they’re out of stock, and you have to wait. But , currently still quite available.
Life/Finish: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○ ○

These ‘die’ too quickly in my opinion. They stop fanning perfectly after half an hour. This one deck I have open doesn’t fan or spread anymore. But that’s probably because I was doing ‘vertigo’ with them, and card to mouth, and other random things like crimping them and stuff. Embossed finish…uhm,,,I guess thats a good description. The cards,,,they feel….embossed… Once again, stronger than a bicycle card. Obviously. 6$ a deck has to get you somewhere.
Faro: ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○
The way they’re cut. Makes. Faro. Very not-intuitive.
Back Design: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○ ○ ○
Rug decks come in six colors. All of them being splashed with traces of gold, except for the gold back which is splashed with black. Unforunately sports thinner than usual borders. Probably should go for the white one, which has no borders. Otherwise, decent.
360 Deck Flip: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○
(No Picture for obvious difficult reasons)
(okay, maybe one for laughs)

I need to get either a third hand or a better camera.
So, because it doesn’t fan, that means the cards hold together much much better. You can probably pull of 360 x 4 and higher. I know I can 😛 Other enjoyable thing is that I can get deck flips to spit out a single card at will. Maybe I’ll put that up later.
Comments

-Offason Anglo Rug! They put their logo on the Ace of Hearts! Awesome! Don’t particularly like how all the pips and face cards are in some beige outlined box thing. Jokers are….boring and bordering on disturbingly creepy. Back borders could use…expanding. Which did happen for the ’09 poker edition, which I want to pick up, but won’t do so until laterrrrrrr. Good deck for magic and sleights. Not too good deck if you want to fan and armspread and other things.
