Ebay find. 8$, I’d imagine these decks would fluctuate back and forth. Last set I was bidding on went for 35$,,,,unfortunately not to me. Buh.

Vintage casino. And its white bordered. Quite a bit difficult to come across I guess.

One of my favorite finish/stock combination. Long lasting,,,still has snap after all these years. I find it amusing that I’m using playing cards which are older than me by probably twice my age. Finish….uhh …hm… it’s the ‘good’ casino stock. In addition, these take fanning powder really really really well.

Above average. Nothing to note else.

Once again, I personally like it. A white border casino stock. A solid color backdrop. A casino ’emblem’ logo.  All check +,

“Because the cards go rushin’ by”. or something. Theres enough snap to make a card spring look good,,,as well as ??sound?? Good.

-Palace Club. What an excellent styled box. Blue cards coming in a red box. Didn’t see any jokers. Oh well. These cards take fanning powder very well. Makes fans and spreads awesome. Probably wouldn’t use these for magic purposes due to ’old’ doubles, so you get splitting doubles and bad other sleights. But Xcm gets a good boost. Blah blah blah. What else. Good for collecting, difficult to come by. Good crisp snap.  I wish I had more of these.

More random casino decks. Depends on what you want to pay for them.

A little more available I guess due to being more unknown than say….Bee casino cards. But still unavailable for mass purchases nonetheless.

The boxes both say Nevada finish. Its actually quite distinguishable from other cards. What to compare it to… a more notable plastic coat,,,but not as much as uhmm,,, hmm. .. Maybe think arrco regulations if they were stiffer and didn’t fan as well. Or… aladdins(need to stop referencing things I haven’t covered yet) if it wasn’t all smooth. But lighter. Personally, theres some difference between the two decks, but that’s probably more due to age, condition, back paint, etc…than actual stock. I mean…the boxes are different, but I’m not too sure about the stock. Maybe they moved somewhere. The aceofspades seems to indicate some new management or something. Shrugs. Uhm. Very durable cards when new from box. More slip than a usual casino deck. Feels…thinner than a bicycle deck, but a little stronger.

The old box…like Bourbon street has full bleed white and logo like yesterday’s Sam’s town . Plain and easy. The next generation has a full bleed checker square like background :/ and logos. Ugly. Kinda like bee diamond back with logos. Undesirable. Well. Pick and choose.

Yay for hot shot cut. Only thing that stood out when I was tossing these around while wondering what to take photos of. Haha. Snappy. And since they’re light, they ’float’ for more air time. Air time. That hovering effect you get when you angle it with enough spin. Pretty.

-So today, I just picked out two decks. For fun. From my random Ebay sleuthing. Yea I know. Boring stuff. So now you can choose between (among) Gemaco, Bee, and Hoyle for your old casino cards. Fun.  Had to revive the older one with fanning powder. Face cards have the hoyle court cards. Both have typical ‘casino’ red. Cards typically stay crisp. Even after all this time. Boxes are….boring.  Old has full box, newer had plastic window. Good decks to carry around and use, because, they’re not worth much for anything else?
