So yes. I’m starting to run through the case. And randomly picking out things that catch my eye.

Ebay. The place where you’ll find it. I have no idea when these were produced. Probably should look into it later. I got these off ebay for 4$ shipping included. Decent for something that’s out of print.

Ebay. I just ran a search on Ebay. Nothing shows up. How depressing. Ran a search on yahoo. Nothing shows up. Well duh, yahoo isn’t that great. Ran a search on google. Marc Ecko Collectible PlayingCards by Echo Unltd. Available through amazon.com at 3.99$ a deck. Thanks google.

So. This Ecko deck. Playing cards are made of paper, and this one is no different. Except it has that plasticky covering feel all over it. You know. The kind that souvenir playing cards from tourist locations feel like. Except better. These actually fan half decently. Waterfalls/Anacondas still have that crisp snap to it at least.

Faro: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○

Unfortunately, because of that stiffness, faros become more difficult. Doesn’t mean its not possible. Its just less…motivated. Even when the faro does go through, you’re probably off by one with this deck. So…stiff.

The edges on the back of this deck line up just where the spread should end between each card. Which leaves that little spray can ‘E’ showing in the middle. Don’t try fans though, those don’t get any better unfortunately.

-What? Ecko has its own set of playing cards? That Ecko? The one that sells clothing and shoes and more? Well. The cards are a good addition for a collection. Wouldn’t use them much though. Not standard sized. Not bridges sized. Ultra thin back borders. Shrugs.

Good Morning? Bienvenidos? Hajimemashite?

So, its that time of year again. Freshmen year of college at the HMC is over, and summer is ahead. Which means…summer projects time!!! I spent part of my second semester playing on ebay, which means I was able to net myself a bunch of decks for overall cost of little. Buying and selling. Buy decks cheap, sell them back for more. What does that mean then? I need somewhere to archive some information. Looks like I ended up on wordpress.com due to a friend’s recommendation.

So, please meet Kagamine Len and Kagamine Rin. They’re Vocaloids, little characters with synthetic voices developed by Yamaha and Crypton. They’re in nendoroid form, so, about the size of a playing card. Funsize. They’re going to be working with me. Heh.

This is case #1. We’ll get to the others later.
