Darn. Its actually the year of the Ox. What year am I living in : (

Anyways…I need to find better things to do. Than like…waking up at 2pm.

Name: Caesar’s Palace (Carta Mundi)
Date: 7.29.2009
* Please forgive me again. I took these at night.
Cost: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○
For internet buying people. You’ll be hard pressed to come across these I guess. I’d shoot around 5$ for a deck of these. Though. Definitely not worth 5$. Like E’s ghosts. Or RJRTC Bees.

I’d imagine if you live near Caesar’s Palace, you could easily get these. Everyone else. Go to eBay and look around a bit.

Life/Finish: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○ ○ ○
Welcome back to another edition of stiffest cards you can find. Carta Mundi is supposedly known for being strong and snappy. Not heavy at all though. Good for practicing springs. Box says linen finish. Think uhmmm Massa linen finish and not some other linen finish. . . Like uhhh Tally Ho?…no that was linoid…uhh h h Well Massa is about the quality of this card. Quite close. I’d say this deck lasts longer though. Massa however has a better ..aircushion for fanning. Carta Mundi does not fan. Both have all over back design with black. So if you like that feel. Go ahead.

Faro: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Going through so many decks gives you a feel of what probably faros. This one does faro. Difficultly. Stiff cards means less control. Will faro, but you’ll have to get better positioning rather than counting on the cards to weave themselves effortlessly.

Black and gold. Not really my thing. I’d prefer Massa’s back over these. On the other side, the faces. Not casino red but actual bright red. And uhh. Caesar like court cards. Yay.

Cardini Change: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ○ ○ ○ ○ ○
So I spent the weekend running around with this deck in use. Cardini change. Heavy and snappy makes more difficult. Just a tad more than lighter cards.

-So. I got this with that last stash I picked off eBay. Sealed. And used them for the weekend. Are these cards special. Apparently some people think to seem so. Good deck to use if you’re into the XCM/flourishing sector of card work. Unfortunately for me. I like the magic side of card work. Which means I use this deck for practice and other things. The finish is not good at all for fanning. Spreading is half decent. Tried super flip with these cards. Figured out that stiff cards need less bend to flip. Shouldn’t use these decks everyday. Other cards don’t match up the uhh rigor? Strength? Build/? Of this deck. You might get used to it. Bad……But still a deck worth mentioning eventually.
