Lazy summer is eating away at lazy me. So yea. What is this blog good for now? I’m quite done with my stash. Good run for the summer. I’m pretty sure this blog will stay playing card related in some sense, but probably with an attribute to card magic, and possibly other magic. Well, the playing cards archive will get randomly updated every now and then.  Whatever. Haha.

Was sitting around thinking what to possibly go over today. ohyea, that silly brown Golden Nugget deck I picked up.

The year seems to be either 1972 or 1992. I’d guess 1972.

White border Golden Nugget. Usually 17-25 on eBay/deck. I got this one cheap at around 1-2$ in that stash awhile back. Ebay hunting does pay off once in awhile.

Sparingly found on Ebay. Brown is not a desirable color as far as I know.

Good old style bee stock. Took some marks off for having a slight bend, but I’m expecting to faro that out. Does not spread like magic at the moment. Can’t use for super flip. Still pretty awesome.

The golden nugget solid color back is always a plus with the white border. The brown and gold however…..is what I would expect from hearing the phrase “Golden Nugget” and not knowing it was a casino. : / So many colors….orange/blue/purple/green/black are still missing…

No. Don’t do it with Golden Nuggets. Its not worth the cost of admission.

-Vintage Casino deck. One of the more well known ones attributed to magic effects. Yay. Good for use every now and then. Not good for everyday use. You’ll burn out your wallet and sanity if you could do that. I would use this for table counting magic tricks, since the back design is neat enough to stand out on the table. Oh well, just a personal taste.
