This is the 3rd deck from Jody Eklund, following the LPC release of Hipster playing cards, and the recently shipped Golden Spike, funded through Kickstarter in August 2014.

Thoughts: In terms of visual back designs for cardistry, I like the blue band on the standard deck as well as the gold band on the black deck. The exclusive deck doesn’t have this band, but its still clean. The artwork on the royal face cards are all great, and everyone you’d expect is there. Its a party and you’re invited! Each of the Aces is a sector of innovation from, automobiles to electricity and communication to flight. Like the Golden Spike deck, this set is a historical tribute to innovation.

Will I pick these up?: Yes. I went ahead and pledged at the 40$ tier for 1 of each deck, so you’ll see a review when they arrive later this year.
